Non-profit partnership "RTS Stock Exchange" has announced the purchase of the controlling interest (52.18%) in the closed joint-stock company "Depositary and Clearing Company" from the non-profit partnership "DCC". Cash assets equal to 3 million US dollars were transferred to the appropriate account of "DCC" on May 16 th , 2005. The record confirming the transfer of rights was obtained from the Central Moscow Depositary on May 23 rd , 2005.
This announcement brings the total amount of shares held by RTS Stock Exchange in Depositary and Clearing company to 56,52%.
In the nearest future the RTS Stock Exchange plans to file appropriate documentation on the transaction with the Federal Anti-monopoly Service.
