"RTS Settlement Chamber" Offers Banks Dollar Settlement

The RTS Settlement Chamber offers its clients a new service - US dollar settlement. In accordance with the Russian Federation currency laws and the appropriate license issued by the Central Bank, the RTS Settlement Chamber, being a credit organization with minimum risk, has the right to perform a limited number of banking operations. More than 400 organizations, including 100 banks, currently constitute the client base of the Chamber. The RTS Settlement Chamber is a member of SWIFT; it provides currency settlement through a correspondent account with JPMorgan Chase Bank in New York.

Transaction fee for payments equals 10 US dollars. Payments are accepted daily from 8 30 to 19 20. Electronic notification is done before 9 30.

If necessary, the RTS Settlement Chamber can inform the client about current status of his account; interaction may be conducted via S.W.I.F.T. or versus "5NT Online" (the Client-Bank system that uses Internet as a communication channel).

The RTS Settlement Chamber is a non-banking credit organizations providing settlement in both Russian rubles and US dollars. The RTS Settlement chamber settles trades in securities executed at the RTS Stock Exchange non-profit partnership, St.Petersburg Stock Exchange and RTS Stock Exchange joint-stock company. It also serves as the settlement chamber for electricity trading at the Administrator of Trading system.
