RTS Realtime System Group Appoints New Head Of Global Sales

RTS Realtime System Group, announced the appointment of Mr Christian M. Schild (43) as Head of Global Sales within the RTS matrix organization. Schild joined the leading independent software vendor in May 2004. In this new role he will be responsible for all sales activities of the whole RTS group. In addition to this function he will be managing the UK business of RTS. He is directly reporting to Engelbert Gemuenden, chairman of the board.

Prior to RTS, Schild had spent 15 years with Citibank/Citigroup in various product and sales management roles, namely in Foreign exchange sales, FX options sales, Warrants and Equity derivatives. From 1996 to 2000 he was Head of FX sales in Citibank N.A. Zurich and in 2002/03 Head of Institutional Sales for the Nordic region in Salomon Smith Barney Equity Derivatives unit in Frankfurt. Schild earned a degree in Economics from the University of Regensburg, Germany and studied economics and political sciences at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. Christian M. Schild is married and father of two boys (11 and 13 yrs.).
