RTS Provides RTD Realtime Trading Desktop Screens To Chicago Mercantile Exchange's GLOBEX® Learning Center

RTS Realtime Systems Group, one of the leading global Independent Software Vendors providing professional trading software for Locals, Market Maker, Proprietary Traders, Brokers and Institutionals, today announces the supply of its RTD Realtime Trading Desktop to the Chicago Mercantile Exchange's GLOBEX® Learning Center (GLC).

The GLOBEX® Learning Center (GLC) is a fully-integrated "learning institution" that is designed to provide all the comprehensive tools necessary to help our members effectively transition to electronic trading - in their own styles and at their own paces - through the use of simulated trading stations, education, training and support. GLC includes simulated trading in a real-time environment, using new trading software, real-time news feeds, simulated trade executions, back office and clearing functions, and profit-and-loss accounting. Furthermore, GLC has partnered with local universities to offer classes and certificate programs in subjects related to electronic trading. This already compliments the many courses CME already offers both in the classroom and on-line. Many of the resources provided by GLC are also available to the public, students and to visitors from all over the world.

By using the RTD Realtime Trading Desktop, CME Members can trade all CME contracts, including equity index, interest rate, foreign exchange and commodity products, against the sophisticated RTD Market Simulator with real time market data. The new RTD version installed at the GLC includes the RTD Quote Machine® for market making with different quoting methods, the RTD Electronic Eye®, real time risk management and charting.
