RTS, NAUFOR, GIFA And European Bond Commission To Draft Cooperation Agreement

During its current Moscow meeting (October 24th-26th) the European Bond Commission (EBC) has decided to draft a cooperation agreement between the RTS Stock Exchange, NAUFOR (National Association of Professional Securities Market Participants), GIFA (Investment and Financial Analysts' Guild) and the EBC. The purpose of this multilateral agreement is to promote the EBC-established standards of bond offering and trading in Russia.

The European Bond Commission is a constituent of the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies. Created in mid-70s, the Commission is charged with the examination of matters related to the fixed income securities market in Europe. Its main objectives are to raise the standards of professional and academic analysis of bonds and their derivatives, to encourage developments improving the efficiency of European bond markets and providing authoritative information on the bond markets in Europe.
