RTS Money: July 2005 Market Data

In July 2005 total trading volume on the RTS Money, the FOREX market of the RTS Stock Exchange, equaled 2 285 million US dollars, compared to 2 713 million US dollars in June 2005. There were 363 deals made during this month.

RTS Money is a joint project of the RTS Stock Exchange and PRBT (Broker Technology Development Project) company to develop inter-bank currency trading. The system combines the most up-to-date electronic trading technologies, high liquidity provided by market-makers telephone broker support with modern settlement infrastructure provided by the RTS Settlement Chamber. Market participants can trade the most liquid instruments of Russian financial markets. Currently 24 banks, including two foreign banks, trade on the RTS Market.
