RTS Classic Market: Weekly Data February 17th-February 21st

For the week of February 17th - February 21st, 2003, the RTS Index inched up 0.80% and closed at 373.88. The RTS Technical Index posted the 0.70% gain and reached 410.18. The week's top gainers include Severstal common shares (CHMF) that climbed 14.80% and reached $60.5, Novosibirskenergo preferred shares (NVNGP) that gained 14.22% and closed at $2.45 and Rostelecom preferred shares (RTKMP) that reached $0.924, up 10% on last closing.

The week's top losers were Yakutgazprom common shares (YAKG) that ended 19.38 % off at $0.129 per share, Yakutskenergo common shares (YAEN) that lost 15.60% and closed at $0.00633, and Lenenergo common shares (LSNG) that lost 11.81% and closed at $0.321.
