Chicago-based R.J. O’Brien & Associates (RJO), the oldest and largest independent futures brokerage and clearing firm in the United States, announced that the firm won the award for “Best Independent FCM” at the CTA Intelligence U.S. Services Awards 2019. The award marks the seventh CTA Intelligenceaward win for RJO and its UK affiliate in the U.S. and European editions of the magazine’s Services Awards.

Now in their sixth year, U.S. awards recognize those service providers to the U.S. managed futures industry that have demonstrated exceptional customer service, innovative product development and growth over the past 12 months.
On three other occasions, RJO won the “Best FCM – Client Service” award, and in 2016, the “Best FCM – Innovation” category at the U.S. awards. Its London-based affiliate won the magazine’s European Services award in the technology category in November 2016 and in the innovation category in 2015.
