Review Of The Copenhagen Stock Exchange's KVX Growth Market

Date 30/08/2002

The annual review of the companies on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange's KVX Growth Market has been made.

One company, EDB Gruppen, does not meet the quantitative requirements for remaining on the KVX Growth Market and will therefore be transferred to the Exchange's main market.

The following 10 companies constitute the KVX Growth Market from 2 September 2002:

  1. Bavarian Nordic
  2. Danionics
  3. Danware
  4. Genmab
  5. Maconomy
  6. NeuroSearch
  7. Pharmexa
  8. RTX Telecom
  9. SimCorp
  10. Thrane & Thrane
The KVX market was launched on 1 September 2002 to increase the focus on a group of companies with great growth potential listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

With the establishment of the KVX Index the investors were also given a tool to compare the price development of the group of listed Danish growth companies with other similar indices on markets abroad.

Each year the Copenhagen Stock Exchange reviews the KVX portfolio at the end of August, and a company can only remain on the KVX market provided that:

  1. The company's average market capitalisation has not been lower than DKK 300 million during the past 12 months.
  2. The average daily turnover of the company's shares on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange has been higher than DKK 500,000 during the past 12 months.
Companies that have been admitted to listing or transferred to the KVX market within the latest 12-month period will not be reviewed until after the expiry of the subsequent period.
