Result Of The Quarterly Review Euronext 100 & Next 150:

As a result of the quarterly review of 31 May 2002 the following changes will be effective as of Monday 1 July 2002.

Euronext 100

  • ASF, Euronext and Vedior will enter the Euronext 100 index.
  • M6-Metropole TV, CGIP and CMG will be removed from the Euronext 100 index.
Next 150

The following stocks will enter the Next 150 index:

  • CMG, Klepierre, Groupe Bourbon, Sligro Beheer, Fininfo, Orpea.
The following stocks will be removed from the Next 150 index:
  • Euronext, Vedior, Wendel Investment, April Group, Locindus and Laurus.
As of 1 July 2002 Vopak (N150) will split into Vopak and Univar. Depending on the Market Capitalisation of both companies, Euronext will decide which company (Vopak and/or Univar) will complete the Next 150 index.

Next Prime

As a result of the quarterly review of the Euronext 100 the following changes will be made to the NextPrime index: as of 1 July 2002, Euronext and Vedior will be removed from the NextPrime index.

Please note: all these changes are subject to corporate actions during the period between the announcement date and the effective date.

The Euronext 100 and Next 150 index have been published since 2 October, 2000. They are constituted of the 250 securities with the highest market capitalisation, traded on the official markets of Euronext. In order to be included in the indices the securities must meet liquidity criteria that are specified in the rules of the indices. Euronext Indices is the compiler of the indices under the supervision of the independent Euronext Indices Steering Committee.
