E) BSE-500 Index:
Vide Notice No. 20111116-20 dated November 16, 2011 Jindal Saw Ltd. (BSE Code: 500378) started trading on ex-entitlement basis w. e. f. November 22, 2011 on account of demerger of Investment undertaking into Hexa Tradex Ltd. and hence it was excluded from all BSE Indices including BSE 500 Index vide notice no. 20111117-21.
The Index Committee guidelines mandates inclusion of a company in BSE-500 index, after one month of its re-listing, which was previously excluded on account of ‘No Dealing’/trading on Ex-entitlement basis pursuant to the Scheme of Arrangement or due to any corporate restructuring, subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility criteria for inclusion in the index.
Jindal Saw Ltd. (BSE Code: 500378) started trading on ex-entitlement basis w.e.f. November 22, 2011 and satisfied all eligibility criteria for inclusion in the index.
