What are the key objectives?
The goals of this 5th workshop on long-term flow-based allocation are to:
- Introduce the expected effects and outcomes on long-term flow based allocation to the Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and market participants in the Core and Nordic capacity calculation regions who are working on the implementation of the allocation principles; and
- Provide the simulation results that aim at providing further understanding on the long-term flow-based optimisation function.
What are the next steps?
- 6th workshop on the long-term flow-based allocation is expected in September 2023.
- Single Allocation Platform that will support allocating the long-term flow-based electricity capacities is expected to go live by the end of 2024.
