Listed private equity (LPE) companies are publicly traded vehicles that generally invest capital in privately held businesses. The GLPE Index represents a means of representing diversified exposure to private equity firms and their underlying portfolio investments.
LPE companies added to the index:
- Carlyle Group
- Triangle Capital Corp
LPE companies removed from the index:
- RHJ Intl
These index changes are effective June 29, 2012.
