Red Hat, Inc. Marks 11th Transfer To NYSE Group, Inc. From Nasdaq In 2006

Today, NYSE Group, Inc. (NYSE: NYX) welcomed its eleventh transfer from Nasdaq year-to-date, when Red Hat, Inc., the world's leading open source and Linux provider, joined the world’s largest equities market. Red Hat will begin trading today on the NYSE’s Hybrid Market platform under the ticker symbol “RHT .”

To celebrate this special occasion, Red Hat, Inc. Chairman & CEO Matthew J. Szulik rang today’s Opening Bell.

Red Hat, Inc. (NYSE: RHT) marks the 19th transfer year-to-date from other markets to the NYSE Group, Inc. With a market capitalization of over $3 billion, Red Hat, Inc. brings the total market capitalization of transfers from other markets to NYSE Group to $45.8 billion this year.

Since 2000, 146 companies have transferred to the New York Stock Exchange from Nasdaq.
