Record Year On The Copenhagen Stock Exchange In 2004

Trading on the equity market reached new highs in 2004, and already at the beginning of the year, there were indications that the previous record set in 2000 would be broken. This happened as early as the beginning of October.

Bond trading came off to a good start, but declined somewhat during the spring and late summer. However, record-breaking activity on the bond market in December improved the year’s turnover significantly so that it amounted to DKK 7,061 billion, a 3 per cent rise on 2003.
