Record September Trading Volumes For Euronext.liffe White Sugar Futures And Milling Wheat Futures Contracts

Euronext.liffe’s White Sugar Futures Contract set a new monthly volume record of 153,122 contracts in September, the third monthly record this year, breaking the previous record of 143,426 contracts set in July 2004.

Euronext.liffe’s Milling Wheat Futures Contract set a new monthly volume record of 20,726 contracts in September, breaking the previous record of 16,989 contracts set in August 2004.

Euronext.liffe lists a broad range of Commodity Products which include Cocoa, Robusta Coffee, White Sugar, Feed Wheat, Milling Wheat, Rapeseed, Corn and Potatoes. The products are actively traded by a diverse range of participants, including producers, exporters, trade-houses, processors and manufacturers as well as by managed funds and both institutional and short-term investors.
