Recommendations To The Annual General Meeting For The Election Of The Supervisory Board

At today’s meeting the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG has decided upon the following persons (see attachment) to be recommended to the Supervisory Boad at the Annual General Meeting on May 16, 2012 as candidates for the election of shareholder representatives. After three years in office a new Supervisory Board has to be elected in 2012 due to rotational principles.

In accordance with the Corporate Governance Codex the current Supervisory Board also recommends Dr. Joachim Faber to be elected as Chairman in course of the first constitutive session of the newly formed Supervisory Board. Mr Gerhard Roggemann has been recommended once again to serve as deputy Chairman. This recommendation is based upon the proposal of the Supervisory Board’s Nomination Committee.

The Supervisory Board of Deutsche Börse AG consists of 18 members. The six employee representatives will be directly elected by all employees of Deutsche Börse AG on March 28, 2012.
