Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department and Public Prosecution Department have entered into two MoUs with the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA) and the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX). The MoUs aim to establish electronic connectivity and facilitate the exchange of information and data to simplify procedures and provide better services to customers. It also aims to enhance mutual cooperation in all areas and to share knowledge and expertise, thus serving the interest of the parties involved.
The MoUs were signed at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah by H.E. Chancellor Ahmed Mohammed Al Khatri, Chairman of RAK Courts Department; H.E. Counselor Hassan Saeed Muhaimed, a RAK Public Prosecutor; H.E. Dr. Obaid Al Zaabi, CEO of SCA; and H.E. Rashed Al Balooshi, CEO of ADX.
Al Khatri said that entering into these MoUs comes in response to directives by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah and Chairman of the Judicial Council, to explore avenues for strategic cooperation with various private and government bodies, promote partnerships, unify customer service efforts, and exchange knowledge and expertise.
For his part, Muhaimed said that, by entering into these MoUs, the RAK Public Prosecution Department is working to build effective strategic relationships, to simplify procedures, and to facilitate mutual communication with various bodies.
Dr. Al Zaabi explained that these MoUs are an important move that reflects mutual cooperation with government bodies to offer better services to customers, thus serving the common interests of all parties and contributing to improved government processes. He added that SCA is offering distinct government services and is making sure to facilitate communication with all bodies.
Al Balooshi, for his part, said, “it is our pleasure to enter into these MoUs with RAK Courts Department and Public Prosecution Department. This is part of our efforts to enhance coordination and integration between various government bodies. It is also part of ADX’s efforts to establish electronic connectivity with all relevant parties to accelerate the digital transformation across the country”.
