Quarterly Changes To The NASDAQ Q-50 Index

The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ), parent of the world's first electronic stock market and a leading index provider, today announced the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Q-50 Index (Nasdaq:NXTQ), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, June 24, 2013.

The following eight securities will be added to the Index: MercadoLibre, Inc. (Nasdaq:MELI), Melco Crown Entertainment Limited (Nasdaq:MPEL), Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. (Nasdaq:NCLH), NetEase, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTES), Penn National Gaming, Inc. (Nasdaq:PENN), Seattle Genetics, Inc. (Nasdaq:SGEN), Sirona Dental Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:SIRO) and Splunk Inc. (Nasdaq:SPLK).

The NASDAQ Q-50 Index is designed to track the performance of securities that are next-eligible for inclusion into the NASDAQ–100 Index. It does not contain securities of financial companies including investment companies.

As a result of the re-ranking, the following seven securities will be removed from the Index: Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:CDNS), Frontier Communications Corporation (Nasdaq:FTR), Informatica Corporation (Nasdaq:INFA), Medivation, Inc. (Nasdaq:MDVN), Patterson Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq:PDCO), Royal Gold, Inc. (Nasdaq:RGLD) and tw telecom inc. (Nasdaq:TWTC).
