The NASDAQ OMX Group, Inc. (Nasdaq:NDAQ) announced today the results of the quarterly re-ranking of the NASDAQ Q-50 IndexSM (Nasdaq:NXTQ), which will become effective prior to market open on Monday, June 18, 2012.
The following six securities will be added to the Index: Analog Devices, Inc. (Nasdaq:ADI), Fortinet, Inc. (Nasdaq:FTNT), IAC/InterActiveCorp (Nasdaq:IACI), Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq:LECO), NetEase, Inc. (Nasdaq:NTES) and Patterson Companies, Inc. (Nasdaq:PDCO).
The Index is designed to track the performance of the 50 securities that are next in line to replace the securities currently included in the NASDAQ-100 Index®. As a result of the re-ranking, the following four securities will be removed from the Index: ARM Holdings plc (Nasdaq:ARMH), FLIR Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq:FLIR), Gentex Corporation (Nasdaq:GNTX) and Royal Gold, Inc. (Nasdaq:RGLD).
