Aegis Trust, one of the select few digital asset qualified custodians in the U.S. offering client-centric technology infrastructure and regulatory compliant solutions, announced today that Anthony Botticella has been appointed as the new President of the company, as well as its global custodian entities, effective immediately. With over two decades of experience in trust and financial management, Mr. Botticella brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to his new role.
Previously, Mr. Botticella served as the CEO of BitGo Trust. He also was the Chief Trust Officer of Prime Trust. In addition, Mr. Botticella has a strong legal background, having earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Tulsa College of Law.
As President of Aegis Trust Company (United States), Aegis Custody Company Limited (Hong Kong), and Aegis Custody Pte Ltd (Singapore), Mr. Botticella will oversee all three entities’ custody, infrastructure, compliance and day-to-day operations.
