With hearts that believe in the will and decree of Allah, Qatar Stock Exchange mourns the passing of the great national figure, His Highness the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. May Allah envelop him in His vast mercy, forgive him, grant him Paradise, and place him among the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous.
With reference to the Directive of Qatar Central Bank, and the Qatar Financial Markets Authority regarding the Amiri Diwan’s announcement of official mourning throughout the country for the loss of the nation's great figure, it has been decided to suspend trading starting from Monday, July 13, 2026, and to resume trading at Qatar Stock Exchange on Sunday, July 19, 2026.
