Puro.earth, the leading carbon-crediting platform for durable carbon dioxide removal (CDR), today launched MyPuro 2.0, a major upgrade to its MyPuro certification platform. The system makes it faster and easier for carbon removal suppliers to certify projects, while laying the groundwork for Puro to offer an enhanced and customer centric experience to its ecosystem of suppliers and partners.
“We are bringing MyPuro 2.0 to the market with one goal: to make certifying high-quality, sciencebacked carbon removal credits as efficient and seamless as possible,” said Jan-Willem Bode, President of Puro.earth. “It’s a major leap forward. It not only improves workflows today, but also unlocks the digitally verified issuance cycles of tomorrow so we can reduce time to issuance with the same rigor and reliability the Puro has become known for.”
Platform Delivers Supplier-Centric Improvements
MyPuro 2.0 is transforming the customer experience. By harnessing the latest technologies, we are offering a platform that makes it simple for customers to upload documentation, explore digitized methodologies, and follow clear step-by-step walkthroughs of what needs to be done and how to do it.
Early features focus on supplier access, streamlined audit sharing between Puro and other parties, and a path toward optimizing audit documentation outputs. We continue to take pride in our rigorous review process, and the new platform is designed to uphold these high standards while offering a customer-centric experience.
With many more features on the horizon, we will be migrating from our current platform to MyPuro 2.0 over the coming months.
For buyers, these improvements translate directly into faster access to high-quality CO₂ Removal Certificates (CORCs). Enhanced supplier workflows and improved compliance tools strengthen auditability and accelerate the certification process, reducing time-to-market for verified carbon removal credits.
Foundation for Digital Innovation
MyPuro 2.0 establishes the technical infrastructure for Puro.earth’s next phase of upcoming innovations, including high-frequency issuance capabilities and dMRV integration. The upgraded architecture, supported by Alcove enables API connections, notification systems, and deeper ecosystem integration. It also introduces an enhanced user interface, giving suppliers a more intuitive certification experience.
“Our suppliers drive the carbon removal market, and MyPuro 2.0 reflects our commitment to making their success as seamless as possible,” added Jan-Willem Bode. “We’re building a future where certification is not only rigorous but frictionless - where the digital foundation we’re laying today powers the scalable, transparent carbon removal market of tomorrow.”
MyPuro 2.0 will be available to Puro.earth’s network of over 360 carbon removal suppliers, with onboarding already underway and a phased rollout continuing over the coming months. The platform upgrade requires no additional costs for existing suppliers and includes comprehensive training resources.
