Prosperi said, " During my 13 years, we were able to strengthen the brand and image of the Chicago Board of Trade, and I am confident that work will pay off as the exchange continues to grow and prosper. I also had the pleasure to work with some tremendously talented people at the CBOT®who are, in my view, the best professionals in the industry, and I wish them well. My decision to leave the exchange gives me the opportunity to pursue a variety of interesting and challenging ventures, and I am excited about the possibilities that lie ahead."
CBOT President and CEO Bernard W. Dan said, "David has served our members, member firms, and fellow employees with great distinction in his years of service with the exchange. His business experience, his knowledge of the world of communications, media relations and public affairs, and his understanding of the needs of our members, all resulted in tremendous contributions to the Chicago Board of Trade. We have great respect for David and the work he has done for the CBOT, and we wish him all the best."
