Prometric, a leading global provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment services, and the Securities & Investment Institute (SII), the U.K.-based professional qualifications body for the securities and investment industry, today announced the signing of a new five-year contract that will seek to further enable the spread of financial and securities standards to an increasing number of countries globally.
With a move toward mandatory testing in some financial markets, and a tightening of regulations generally, there in an increasing need for the sector to meet high standards for training and qualification amongst staff. SII is at the forefront of this, promoting education and continuous learning through its comprehensive qualification programs, and responding to the changing needs of the established and emerging markets with the provision of relevant and rigorous qualifications.
Working with Prometric, SII’s graduate and practitioner examinations are already available in more than 50 countries in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, using the secure and reliable Prometric test centre network as a building block for global delivery of the SII exams.
