Lehman Brothers Private Equity Partners Limited, a private equity fund, was listed on NYSE Euronext’s Amsterdam market today.
Lehman Brothers placed 50 million shares with an issue price of $10 to raise $500 million, and brings the total number of IPOs on Euronext Amsterdam in 2007 to eight. So far this year, €2.5 billion in fresh capital have been raised on the Amsterdam market, adding €19 billion in market capitalisation, more than the total additional market capitalisation for the whole of 2006. Since the beginning of this year, €5.5 billion in capital has been placed on the combined Euronext markets, resulting in over €54.5 billion in additional market capitalisation.
