As detailed in the handouts you have all received, we will be announcing changes in executive personnel at the Ministry of Finance and the Financial Services Agency that were approved at the Cabinet meeting earlier.
At the Financial Services Agency, Strategy Development and Management Bureau Director-General MATSUO will be retiring, to be replaced by Supervision Bureau Director-General KURITA. Supervision Bureau Director-General will be replaced by Strategy Development and Management Vice Commissioner ITO. Strategy Development and Management Vice Commissioner will be succeeded by Supervision Bureau Deputy Director-General ISHIDA. Policy and Markets Bureau Director-General FURUSAWA will be retiring, to be replaced by Vice Commissioner Evidence-based Policymaking ITO in charge of the Strategy Development Division, who in turn will be replaced by Supervision Bureau Deputy Director-General HORIMOTO. Furthermore, Commissioner NAKAJIMA, Vice Minister for International Affairs AMAYA, Vice Commissioner for International Affairs ARIIZUMI, and Securities and Exchange Surveillance Commission Secretary-General YUFU, will retain their current positions.
