President and COO Bob Fitzsimmons Appointed Acting CEO Of Nasdaq Liffe Markets - Warren Langley Departs As CEO

Nasdaq Liffe Markets (NqLX) today announced that Robert Fitzsimmons, President and Chief Operating Officer will assume the role of acting CEO. Warren Langley, previous CEO, has left Nasdaq Liffe Markets following an inability to agree on mutually acceptable contract terms.

Under Mr. Fitzsimmons' oversight, and with the full support of Nasdaq and LIFFE, the launch of NqLX remains on track for day one trading when permitted from a regulatory standpoint.
