PMEX And Institute Of Business Management Holds Training On Futures Trading On Pakistan Mercantile Exchange

Pakistan Mercantile Exchange joined hands with the Management Excellence Center (MEC) of the Institute of Business Management to organize a workshop on Futures Trading on Paksitan Mercantile Exchange.

In this two day workshop conducted by Mr. Moiz Amjad, the participants learned how to trade on the Pakistan Mercantile Exchange platform. The trainer covered the subject from a Technical Analysis perspective. The participants were introduced to the concept of Support and Resistance, Candlestick Signals, Momentum Indicators, and the understanding of trends, charts formations as well as trading strategies. The workshop concluded with a review of recognizing probabilities and Money Management techniques as the ultimate key to trading success.

The participants of the workshop included a cross section of the financial institutions like Asset Management Companies, officials of Finance departments, members of various organizations, PMEX member brokers and individuals interested in investing in commodities offered on the Exchange. This mix of audience represented the diverse nature of the business of PMEX and its relevance to various financial needs.

This workshop was yet another in a series of trainings arranged by the Pakistan Mercantile Exchange in an effort to increase awareness of Futures Trading among the target audience. “A number of road shows and seminars have been conducted in the current year in various cities in liaison with respective cities’ Chambers of Commerce and Industries” said Samir Ahmed Managing Director, Pakistan Mercantile Exchange. He further added, “These events are a part of the country wide plan of Pakistan Mercantile Exchange to initiate an awareness drive for the futures market in Pakistan”.
