Pierre Suhrcke has joined LIQUITY’s growing panel of advisors - a group of business experts who complement and strengthen the LIQUITY board and senior management team by providing specialist experience, knowledge and contacts to LIQUITY.
LIQUITY matches qualified investors and sellers of private UK company shares. For investors, LIQUITY provides the opportunity to identify profitable, established, high-growth, private UK companies. It also allows existing shareholders of such companies to identify potential buyers.
“Missing secondary liquidity in the venture and private equity markets has bothered me for years and I always thought that liquidity platforms would be a great way to boost the popularity of the venture markets. This has been the main driver for me to get involved in this strategically important project” commented Pierre.
Pierre has joined the team in an advisory capacity to help grow the business. He has spent more than 17 years in various senior management positions in investment banking at Deutsche Bank in London and Frankfurt including Managing Director at Deutsche Bank’s Capital Venture Partners.
In 2004, together with his partners at ABS Ventures, he acquired Deutsche Bank’s venture portfolio (80 companies in US and Europe) through a Management Buy Out. The respective ABS Venture funds are among the globally best performing secondary direct funds.
Pierre is an active angel investor and has been on the board of many successful private companies in the US and Europe. He is a director of Hong Kong based African Venture Capital firm Acorus Capital. He is also a General Partner of PRE AG, an international investment advisor for single and portfolio venture assets.
