PHLX To Begin Trading Options On Palm, Inc.

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) announced today that it will begin trading put and call options on Palm, Inc. (a spin-off of 3Com, Corp.) upon the opening of trading on Thursday, March 16, 2000. The specialist unit for Palm, Inc. options will be Susquehanna Investment Group, who will be offering an automatic execution (AUTO-X) guarantee of up to 50 contracts for orders executed through AUTOM, PHLX's automatic execution system for equity and sectors index options. Additional information such as option symbol, strike prices, initial expiration months and position limits will be announced at a later date.
