PHLX To Begin Trading Eleven New Options

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) is pleased to announce that it will begin trading put and call options on Barrick Gold Corporation (ABX), Homestake Mining Company (HM), Kmart Corporation (KM), LSI Logic Corporation (LSI), Mellon Bank Corporation (MEL), and Philip Morris Companies, Inc. (MO), upon the opening of business on Wednesday, September 15, 1999. The PHLX will begin trading put and call options on Bank One Corporation (ONE), upon the opening of business on Thursday, September 16, 1999. In addition, the PHLX will begin trading put and call options on Bristol-Meyers Squibb Company (BMY), Eli Lilly & Company (LLY), McDonald's Corporation (MCD), and Texaco Inc. (TX), upon the opening of business on Tuesday, September 21, 1999.
