Philippine Stock Exchange Elects First Woman Chairperson

Members of the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) have elected Trinidad Kalaw as their first chairwoman. Also elected were two new non-broker representatives to the 15-man board of governors. Jose Luis Yulo Jr. will continue serving as the PSE president while Ismael Cruz was elected secretary. Paulino Soo is the new treasurer while Eduardo Gobing and Joseph Roxas are the assistant secretaries. The new non-broker governors are former congressman Margarito Teves and former Aquino finance secretary Vicente Jayme Sr. Others who were elected into the board are: Omar Cruz, Emmanuel Edward Co, Augusto Cosio Jr., Robert Coyiuto Jr., Federico Lim, Edwin Luy, and Francisco Villaroman.
