The PHLX Gold/Silver SectorSM (XAUSM) is a capitalization-weighted index composed of the common stocks of 11 companies involved in the gold and silver mining industry. This index is recognized as a strong non-commodity barometer of the defensive gold market.
The PHLX Oil Service SectorSM (OSXSM) is a price-weighted index composed of the common stocks of 15 companies that provide oil drilling and production services, oil field equipment, support services and geophysical/reservoir services. The index is typically sensitive to the movement of oil prices.
