Philadelphia Stock Exchange Promotes Ben Craig To Director Of Strategic Services In Newly Formed Group

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange (PHLX) recently promoted Ben Craig to Director of Strategic Services in the newly formed Strategic Project Development and Execution (SPDE) group.

In his new role, Craig will provide analysis and internal oversight to ongoing strategic initiatives. In addition, he will manage the SPDE Office of Strategic Services (OSS), which is charged with analyzing internal and external issues and developments in the securities industry. He will also support the office of the Chairman and CEO on a number of special projects.

Craig, who joined the Exchange two years ago, holds a master's degree in public management from the Fels School of Government at the University of Pennsylvania. He also has a master's degree in American history from Tulane University. He earned his undergraduate degree at Birmingham-Southern College.

Prior to joining the PHLX, Craig, who resides in Mount Airy, worked for Amtrak's corporate finance group, where he was responsible for financial analysis and managing strategic alliances, as well as a broad range of public affairs/communications initiatives.
