Philadelphia Stock Exchange Introduces The PHLX Fiber Optics Sector

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced that it will begin trading put and call options on the newly created PHLX Fiber Optics Sector today, Wednesday, November 14.

The PHLX Fiber Optics Sector, which will trade under the options symbol FOP, was allocated to Susquehanna Investment Group. The firm will offer automatic executions up to 50 contracts for orders routed through AUTOM, the PHLX's automatic execution system for equity and sector index options.

The PHLX's Fiber Optics Sector is an equal-dollar weighted index of 21 leading companies whose primary lines of business are development, support, or sale of the equipment or services relating to the fiber optics industry. FOP is comprised of the following stocks:
