Philadelphia Stock Exchange Board Of Governors Re-Elect Two Vice Chairmen

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange announced today that the Board of Governors re-elected John F. Wallace as on-floor vice chairman and Christopher Nagy as off-floor vice chairman for one-year terms.

Mr. Wallace, president of Wallace Securities since 1977, also holds the position of on-floor option floor broker governor and is chairman of the options committee. He has been a member of the exchange since 1972, and a member of the board since 1984 where he held various positions and committee memberships. Mr. Wallace previously served as chairman and CEO of the exchange.

Mr. Nagy is the director of trading at Omaha-based Ameritrade where responsibilities include managing agency traders, making order routing decisions, assessing execution quality, and managing dealer relationships for the firms listed, OTC and options business lines. For 16 years prior to joining Ameritrade, Mr. Nagy held various positions in the securities industry beginning with Shearson Lehman and ending with US Bancorp where he was vice president of equity trading. In addition to being vice-chairman, Mr. Nagy, who joined the PHLX board in 2000, also serves on several PHLX committees as well as other committees within the securities industry.
