Philadelphia Stock Exchange Begins Trading Options On The Phlx Defense Sector On Monday, November 19 - Commander Of The Pennsylvania Air National Guard Rings Opening Bell

The Philadelphia Stock Exchange began trading options on the newly created PHLX Defense Sector on Monday, November 19. The DFX is an equal-dollar weighted index composed of 18 of the largest and most actively traded companies in the defense and aerospace industry.

Maj. Gen. James M. Skiff, assistant adjutant general and commander of 4,300-member Pennsylvania Air National Guard headquartered at Fort Indiantown Gap, Pa., commemorated this occasion by ringing the opening bell at the exchange on that day. Standing to his left is LTC Brian K. Leonhard, administrative officer/G5, 28th Infantry Division.
