Equity options volume for the month of Feb. 2002 totaled 6,200,295 contracts, a 20.6 % decline over the same month last year when 8,586,871 contracts traded.
Sector index options trading volume for the month of Feb. 2002 totaled 391,380 contracts, a 5.5% increase over the same month last year when 370,873 contracts traded.

Volume in the customized and standardized currency options for Feb. 2002 totaled 36,001 contracts, a 0.3% increase over the same month last year when 35,872 contracts traded.
