Joseph P. Cusick was named Vice President of Examinations. He will be responsible for the overall management of the examinations department, including reviewing and drafting examinations procedures of PHLX member firms and for supervising examinations staff.
Prior to joining the PHLX, Cusick was Supervisor of Examiners at the National Association of Securities Dealers Regulation, Inc. (NASDR). He was responsible for managing examiners and the operational monitoring of 100 NASDR member broker/dealers. Cusick received his bachelor of science degree in accounting from Pennsylvania State University.
Arlinda J. Willis was named Vice President of Compliance. In her new position Willis, a lawyer, will be responsible for project management relating to ongoing regulatory commitments to the Securities and Exchange Commission. She will also act as a liaison between the exchange and the SEC.
Prior to her position at the Exchange, Willis worked at the Pennsylvania Securities Commission, Division of Licensing and Compliance as legal counsel and chief of compliance. Willis earned her bachelor of science degree at Central Missouri State University. She received her Juris Doctorate at the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University.
John O'Hara was named as Director of Project Management in the business and operations planning department. In this new role, O'Hara will manage and coordinate projects involving new business initiatives. Prior to joining the PHLX, O'Hara was director of brokerage services at Bankzip.com. He designed and implemented the online brokerage and insurance services of an online banking network and serviced a national coalition of community banks.
O'Hara received his bachelor of business administration degree from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is currently working toward an M.B.A at Drexel University.
