Philadelphia Mayor John F. Street To Kick Off Trading For The New Year At The Philadelphia Stock Exchange On Monday, January 3

Philadelphia Mayor John F. Street will kick off trading for the New Year on the floor of the Philadelphia Stock Exchange on Monday, January 3 when he will ring the opening bell. Remarks will begin promptly at 9:20 a.m., 10 minutes before trading begins.

For the fifth year in a row, Mayor Street will be on hand at the Exchange to usher in the start of the New Year. His appearance marks the first in a yearlong series of prominent people invited to ring the opening bell at the nation’s first stock exchange.

The media is invited for interviews starting at 9:15 a.m. in the Exchange's lobby.
