Cardiff-based peterevans, provider of front-to-back office trading and processing technology has won the award for ‘Best Execution Only Settlement System’ for the second year running at the Systems in the City 2013 event, held at The Grand Connaught Rooms on 19th June.
Mike Foley, managing director for peterevans said, “I am delighted to receive this award for the second year running as recognition of the quality of peterevans technology. I am very proud of the work the peterevans team has achieved by working closely with the execution only broker community to deliver outstanding solutions".
peterevans’ xanite system offers full straight-though-processing from trade through to settlement and is used by some of the UK’s biggest execution-only brokers. The platform gives direct access to central depository Euroclear’s CREST network in the UK, with SWIFT messaging for connection to other markets. The system is fully integrated within the peterevans solution but it can be separately integrated within a user’s IT infrastructure.
The judging panel was comprised of: Rick Girling, Halifax, Andrew Butcher, Rathbones, Phil Hicks, Walker Crips and Graham Shuttlewood, RBS.
The awards were presented in front of an audience of stockbrokers, fund managers and investment banks by Professor Michael Mainelli Chairman and co – founder of Z/Yen one of the City’s leading think tanks.
