Antoinette Hunziker-Ebneter, Head of the former business line Trading & Sales, will leave the Julius Baer Group by the end of the year. As a result of the strengthened wealth management focus at Julius Baer, Trading & Sales has been integrated into the Asset Management division and renamed the Markets unit. Going forward, Markets will focus more strongly on serving private clients and be realigned accordingly. The Board of Directors regrets the departure of Antoinette Hunziker-Ebneter, who has worked for the Julius Baer Group since 2002, and thanks her for her valuable contribution and exceptional service during her tenure. Under her leadership, the trading activities have become an even more effective and profitable business of Julius Baer.
The Markets unit will be headed by Peter Gerlach, who brings extensive experience from numerous areas of banking, including trading. Peter Gerlach has been with Julius Baer for more than 20 years, serving most recently as the interim Head of Private Banking Switzerland.
