Hollywood is celebrating the 79th Annual Academy Awards Ceremony on February 25, 2007. The Dow Jones Media Titans 30 Index tracks the industry and thus the financial impact of movies like the blockbusters.
Since the last Oscar ceremony on March 5, 2006, the Dow Jones Media Titans 30 Index is up 27,8% compared to the Dow Jones STOXX Global 1800, a global benchmark index, which increased by 17,9%. The Dow Jones Global Titans 50, a global blue-chip index, is up 16,3% in the same time period.
