Perfect Channel, a leader in marketplace transformation technology, has appointed Jim Leeds as the company’s chief technology officer (CTO).
The new role reinforces and strengthens Perfect Channel’s commitment to advancing the company’s product development, and will see Jim taking responsibility for leading technology innovation and expanding the company’s products to further optimise transactions by, for example, inventory optimisation.
With more than two decades of software development and management experience in the financial technology space, Jim brings a great deal of knowledge and expertise to the organisation, most recently as IT Director at Openlink Financial in the UK. In this role, he was responsible for a number of product innovations, including Active Data Services, Cube Intelligence development and managing Openlink’s transition to the cloud.
A BSc graduate of Loughborough University with a variety of bank and stock exchange experience, Jim also previously held programming and development lead roles at International Stock Exchange, Information Technology for Banks (ITB) and NatWest Markets.
Commenting on his appointment, Jim, said: ‘There is a lot of opportunity within the online marketplace arena and Perfect Channel is becoming a leader in bringing new technology into commodity and financial markets.
