Pearson plc And Stora Enzo Join Roster Of NYSE-Listed Stocks

In the week ended today, two companies joined the ranks of New York Stock Exchange-listed companies.

The American depositary shares of Pearson plc, headquartered in London began trading on Sept. 1 under the symbol PSO. Pearson is a global media company with its principal operations in the education, business information, consumer publishing and television markets. The company, joins the NYSE as non-U.S. initial public offering.

The American depositary shares of Stora Enso OJY, headquartered in Findland, began trading on a when-issued basis on Sept. 1 under the symbol SCO.WI. Stora Enso OJY is the largest paper and board manufacturer in Europe and the second largest in the world based on production capacity. The company joins the Exchange as a non-U.S. listing also traded on the Helsinki Exchange.
