Paul J Spiteri Appointed First Chief Executive of the Malta Stock  Exchange

  The Malta's stock exchange has announced  that Paul J. Spiteri has been appointed as its first chief executive. The appointment of Spiteri, 58, general manager of the bourse since 1991, was approved by the government. Mark Guillaumier is the new general manager. This is the first time that the exchange has appointed a chief executive, a role previously exercised by chairman Frederick Mifsud Bonnici, who has asked not to be re-appointed because of increased workload in his private company.
