Paul Druckman Re-Appointed - UK's Financial Reporting Council

Gerry Sutcliffe, UK's Minister for Employment Relations and Consumer Affair, has confirmed the re-appointment of Paul Druckman as a director of the Financial Reporting Council (FRC).

Paul Druckman is re-appointed for two years, until 30 June 2007. The remuneration is currently £15,000 per year.

Biographical Notes

Paul Druckman is a representative of the Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies (CCAB) and President of the ICAEW. He was Deputy President of the ICAEW until the 9 June 2004. He has been on the Institute's Council since 1997, being an elected London member. He has been Chairman of both the IT Faculty and the SME Forum. He was a director and shareholder of the UK's leading provider of software to accountants during the 1980's until its sale. In 1991, he founded his own business, a technology company providing innovative software solutions to businesses, focusing on accounting and eCommerce systems. Nine years later he sold to an International IT Group, subsequently moving forward to have a portfolio of business interests and position.
