Tokyo Stock Exchange, Inc. (TSE) was scheduled to revise its trading rules for futures contracts, such as introducing a market maker scheme, in the fourth quarter of 2011 (from October to December) and had previously announced an outline of the revisions in "Revisions to Trading Rules for Futures Contracts in Connection with Migration to Tdex+ System" on September 24, 2010.
However, TSE has decided to partially revise this outline in consideration of subsequent opinions from investors.
These revisions will be implemented in connection with the migration of futures trading to the Tdex+ System, which currently handles only options trading, from the viewpoint of further enhancing investor convenience and expanding the liquidity of the futures market.
TSE will seek public comment regarding these revisions until June 16, 2011.
