Dubai Financial Market (DFM) today announced that it will actively participate in the “UAE Innovation Week 2016”, the nationwide initiative that aims to reflect the country’s impressive achievements in terms of innovation as well as further reinforcing the culture of innovation across all sectors. This initiative is in line with the vison of Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. Under the motto “Hello Tomorrow”, the exchange will offer various participants and the public in general the opportunity learn about its innovative services and solutions, which have been developed as part of its Smart Borse strategy, as DFM has developed numerous game changing innovations in this sector in the UAE and beyond over the past years.
DFM will also organize workshops in order to promote innovation and creative thinking amongst its employees. Moreover, the DFM trading floor will host a smart services stand in order to educate market participants about the leading services developed as part of the Smart Borse strategy. The Innovation Week program will also include a number of workshops and brain storming session in cooperation with leading financial institutions in the UAE and beyond such as National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Citibank, HSBC, and Deutsche Bank as well as leading experts in the field of innovation.

It is noteworthy that DFM has successfully participated in the inaugural round of Innovation Week in 2015, as the exchange received 60 feasible suggestions and many of them have been implemented over the past few months. The exchange will launch some of these new projects during Innovation Week 2016 such as the creative lab and the DFM services directory.
